October 13th has been designated METASTATIC BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DAY by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, in an effort to focus public attention on this significant, underserved breast cancer population.
On that day, the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network (MBCN), along with Young Survival Coalition, and in conjunction with NYU Cancer Institute, will hold an educational conference devoted solely to the treatment and concerns of people living with advanced breast cancer.
Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley issued a resolution to declare October 13 as Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness (MBC) Day.
Buffalo Grove (Illinois) President Elliott Hartstein introduced a proclamation to declare October 13 as MBC Awareness Day.
Philadelphia Mayor, John Street, has issued a proclamation to declare October 13 as MBC Awareness Day.
The Mayor of Princeton, Phyllis L. Marchand, proclaimed October 13 2007 as Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day. She encouraged our citizens of Princeton Township to join the fight against this life threatening disease.
